Roger Marwood
Professional Master Woodturner

I started the business in 1988 based in Wellington, Somerset, offering wood turned components, copies and repairs for furniture makers, builders, joiners, architects, antique restorers and private clients. I also produce bespoke furniture, tables and bookcases etc. I am a member of the British Wood Turners Association which represents a body of commercial wood turners that keep the trade supplied with components and promotes the continuing craftsmanship and skill of its members.

All the work is carried out to my own exacting standards so you can be sure you’re getting high quality, high definition work, whether it's one of a kind or a large number of items.

I can work from turned examples, sketches, blueprints or photographs to provide you with crisp turning with attention paid to the finest details. My Copy Lathe enables me to undertake high volume work; the Pattern Maker’s Lathe has the capacity to make large turnings up to 3.3m length and Facework up to 1.2m diameter.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or enquiries.
